Pet Lovers



This is da'Baby, she's 13 this year, and we've had her, well seems like forever, she was just 5 weeks old when we got her, when she was a kitten, she would sleep with me, like you see her picture, on her back with her head resting in my shoulder, like a baby. She doesn't sleep with me anymore, her legs won't let her jump, she has a comfy pillow she sleeps on, when going downstairs to bet my java, she gets up with me, mewing all the way, of course she's talking about everything, the only way to quiet her is to feed her and give her her treat, omg she's spoiled, funny she still thinks I'm her mum


And the Cocs or Coco, she's 17, we got her when she was 4, and were her 5th owners, no-one wanted her, afterall she's just so bad, lol, not really. She just hid under the bed and wouldn't come out, when I went to get her, the man had to pull the bed apart of get her, he gave her to me and she wouldn't leave my side, so I took her home and shut the doors so she could only go in the computer room, dining room and livingroom, I wouldn't let her go hide, she was a part of our family now. She's come a long way since those first weeks, comes to get pets and loving, is so good when groomed, she's such a gentle wee soul and she's ours now and has been with us for, yeah, 13 years.




Unchallenged

A little ball of fluff
Is really quite enough
Grabs me every time
Pulling at my heart strings
I hold it in my hand
This kind of love is never planned.

They learn so quick
When you're wearing black
To rub against you
or gnaw on your shoes
They twitch their lil nose
Then they notice panty hose.

They are cheeky little boarders
Not paying room and board
Taking over all the home and you
Only on their terms
Sleeping where they please

And altho' they are bad mannered
And really quite pushy
They boss us, demand from us
And yet they love us
But never to forget
They own us too.
