Celtic Curse
With March coming, my thoughts wonder to St. Patrick's Day.
Top o' the Mornin'
Ireland is more than leprechaun's, banshee's, and a pot of gold. My husband is Scottish, and my father is of Irish/English decent. We have a lot of the British Isles within our house.
The Irish are known for Celtic, Druids and St. Patrick.
St. Patrick used the clover to explain the trinity, ah, the luck of the Irish.
During the history of the Celtic's, a travelling band sailed the world, it was a time of famine and a lack of proper food. To survive during the lean years, the body would build up extra iron. And although it was helpful during this time, our food and nourishment has greatly improved, but the body can still build up extra iron, remembering the lean times. Genetics, it's passed down.
Along comes the Celtic Curse. No, it's not from a gnome, wicked faery, or a banshee, it's a very real curse. Remember the iron build-up, you may say, so what, it's a good thing, right?
Wrong! Too much iron can be harmful to the body, every person having any Celtic within their blood lines, should have this tested. Remember, the Celts were a wandering group.
The test is an easy one, and fixing it can also be easy, but not knowing can be deadly. There can be the side effects of too much iron and it can also kill you. To read more about the Celtic Curse, a good place to visit is::
