A Star Shone Bright In the twlight of the night, A heaven sent star, shone bright, Sent for love of mankind Others saw, but they were blind. In the manger of a small stable, Blessed from above was his cradle The babe of peace born this night Announced by angels in their flight. The small babe would change the world Recorded the story is of old Yet we celebrate each and every year The blessed event with good cheer. The spirit within you will dwell With the glory you will tell For you know the very reason We celebrate a joyous season.
