Truckin' Man
You are a truckin' man
A lonely life no doubt
The road you travel, choices
Your company, faceless voices.
They talk of their place of home
Or where they might be going
The long road ahead
Loved ones, home in bed.
A life of solitute
Hauling goods cross country
Your world seen through a windshield
Truckin' your chosen field.
Been down that road before
Will probably see it again
The road is mine alone
Driving, driving, going home.
