Night Dreams haunt me A peaceful slumber is all I ask Night dreams that haunt, That stay, during the day with me Is this a wish or reality? Somewhere buried deep within Innocence laying in the grass Watching clouds floating, drifting by Suddenly a movement caught my eye. You're there, beside me, coming close The clouds, watching the clouds I feel your lips upon my neck Friend or foe....I do not know. All senses come to life While clouds fade away A breeze turns and lifts me up Dreaming, dreaming the ones that haunt. Night turns into light It's in between that haunts me The ones that stay, confuses day All the clouds have faded away.
